Terms of use

The terms on which this website is provided, and the boundaries of what Oakline does. Last updated 23 September 2026.

About these terms

This website is operated by Oakline Healthcare Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16959098. In these terms, "Oakline", "we" and "us" mean that company. You can reach us on +44 7572 245085 or at info@oaklinehealthcare.co.uk.

These terms apply to your use of this website. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site — but do feel free to call us instead.

These terms cover the website only. If you become a client, a candidate or an organisation we work with, that relationship will be governed by a separate written agreement, and that agreement takes precedence over anything here.

What this website is

An information site describing Oakline Healthcare Group's services: personalised care and Direct Payment support, healthcare staffing, healthcare recruitment, and a home care division that is in development and not available.

You can read about our services, read guides on Direct Payments and related subjects, and contact us. Nothing on the site creates a contract, a booking or an obligation on either side.

Information, not advice

Everything on this website, including our resource guides, is general information. It is not legal, financial, tax, benefits, medical or clinical advice, and it is not advice about your own situation.

We write carefully and try to keep the site accurate, but:

  • Rules on Direct Payments, personal health budgets, employment, tax and pensions differ between local authorities and NHS bodies, and they change
  • What applies to you depends on facts we do not know
  • Guidance that was correct when written may not be current when you read it

Before acting on anything here that affects your funding, your employment duties, your tax position or your benefits, confirm the current position with your local authority, the relevant NHS body, or a suitably qualified adviser. Do not rely on this site as your only source.

What Oakline does not do

Stated here as well as elsewhere on the site, because it matters:

  • We are not a local authority, an NHS body or an Integrated Care Board. We do not assess needs, decide eligibility, award funding or set the amount of a personal budget. Those decisions are made by your council or the relevant NHS body, and we cannot influence, expedite or appeal them.
  • We cannot obtain funding for you or tell you what you will be awarded.
  • We are not registered with the Care Quality Commission and we do not provide CQC-regulated personal care. We hold no CQC rating. Our personalised care service is administrative, employment and recruitment support around an arrangement you hold.
  • We do not provide home care. Oakline Home Care is in development, is not available, and we do not accept bookings for it.
  • We are not a financial, tax, legal or benefits adviser, and nothing we say should be treated as regulated advice.
  • We do not become the employer of a Personal Assistant we recruit for you. Where you employ someone directly, you remain the employer with the associated legal duties.
  • We are not a regulator or a safeguarding authority. We act on concerns and cooperate fully with safeguarding processes, but we cannot investigate on an authority's behalf.
  • We make no claims about contracts, frameworks, endorsements, accreditations, awards, ratings or outcome statistics, and nothing on this site should be read as implying any.

Enquiries and forms

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract, a booking or a guarantee of service. We will respond as promptly as we can, and we may tell you that we cannot help.

Please do not submit through this website:

  • Diagnoses, medical records, care plans or medication details
  • Information about your own health, if you are a candidate
  • Identifiable information about individual residents or service users, if you are an organisation
  • Registration numbers, DBS certificate numbers, financial details or bank information

We do not ask for these and we do not need them at enquiry stage. Where sensitive information is genuinely needed later, we will explain why and collect it securely.

For candidates: registering with Oakline does not guarantee shifts, placements, a permanent role or any number of hours. For organisations: submitting a staffing request does not guarantee that we can cover it — a booking exists only once we have confirmed it to you.

Our services and agreements

Our services are chargeable. Fees and terms are agreed in writing before work begins, and we will not invoice you for something you have not agreed. Candidates are never charged a fee for finding work.

The scope of any engagement, along with rates, notice, rebate terms where applicable, and each party's responsibilities, is set out in the written agreement for that engagement.

Not an emergency service

Oakline does not provide emergency, urgent or out-of-hours clinical care, and this website is not monitored continuously.

  • If someone is in immediate danger or needs emergency medical help, call 999
  • For urgent medical advice that is not an emergency, call NHS 111
  • If you believe an adult is at risk of harm, contact the adult safeguarding team at the relevant local authority

Do not use a form on this site to report an emergency or an urgent safeguarding concern.

We link to external organisations where it is genuinely useful. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or availability, and a link is not an endorsement or a partnership. Where we mention an external body such as a regulator or an advice service, that is signposting rather than any association with Oakline.

Intellectual property

The content, design, text, graphics and code of this website belong to Oakline Healthcare Group or are used with permission, except where stated.

You may read the site, print pages and share links for your own use. You may quote short extracts from our guides with attribution and a link. Please do not republish substantial parts of our content as your own, or use our name or marks in a way that suggests an association with us.

If you would find one of our guides useful for a group, a service or a training session, ask us — the answer is likely to be yes.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep this site available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every page is free of error.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information published here, from the site being unavailable, or from any external site linked from here. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them.

Changes

We may update these terms as our services change, and the date at the top will change with them. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
