Why the page exists at all
Because the alternative is worse. A great many care websites describe services that are aspirational, "launching soon", or available in theory but not in the area you live in. By the time you find out, you have spent a week you did not have.
Oakline Home Care is a genuine intention — a regulated home care service delivered by our own staff, in people's own homes, in South Yorkshire. It is not a marketing line. But intention is not registration, and regulated personal care can only be provided by an organisation registered to do it. Until that is in place, the only honest thing this page can say is: not yet.
What it is intended to be
Described in future tense, deliberately. A home care service built on the same things the rest of the group is built on: continuity of the people who turn up, staff who are properly checked and briefed, administration that holds up under inspection, and a plain answer when we cannot do something.
If and when it becomes available, it will sit alongside our personalised care support rather than replacing it. Some people want to employ someone directly and be in charge of it; others want a provider to hold that responsibility. Both are legitimate, and they suit different situations.
What we will never do on this page
Claim a registration we do not hold. Display a CQC rating or logo. Suggest that registration is pending, imminent or a formality. Accept a booking, a deposit or a waiting list place for a service that does not exist. Describe ourselves as a home care provider in the present tense.
If you ever see any of those things here, something has gone wrong and we would want to know about it.
